Mekong Project Development Facility (MPDF) is a multi donor program
managed by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private
sector branch of the World Bank Group. Donors to MPDF include
ADB, Australia, Canada, Finland, IFC, Japan, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland,
UK. It’s mission is to support the establishment and the growth
of locally-owned, private small and medium enterprises (SMEs)
in the Mekong Region, including Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.
With offices in Hanoi (HQ), Ho Chi Minh City, Phnom Penh, and
Vientiane, MPDF carries out three main programs:
Company Advisory Assistance Services
MPDF provides Company Advisory Assistance (CAA) to
SMEs that want to improve or
expand their ongoing business or need help in setting up
a Greenfield operation. As companies develop and their actual
needs change over time, MPDF has a range of different services
that it can offer to SMEs.
Operation
reviews for companies to identify problem areas and recommendations
on solutions
Linking
up companies with local consultants and business service providers
